Newborns have delicate immune systems. Many moms are healing postpartum. Siblings are curious and hands on. Because of that, we treat our space like a baby environment first and a photography studio second.
Every newborn photography session takes place in a calm, sanitized, carefully maintained environment so you can fully relax and focus on your family.

A Private, Low Traffic Boutique Studio
We are intentionally a low volume, boutique studio.
We schedule only one session per day.
This allows us to:
• Minimize foot traffic
• Avoid overlapping families
• Fully clean and disinfect the studio
• Air out the space between sessions
• Reset every prop, outfit, and surface
• Create a quiet, peaceful experience for each family
There are no crowded waiting rooms and no back to back appointments. Your family has the entire studio to yourselves.
This slower pace is one of the biggest ways we maintain high cleanliness standards and give parents extra peace of mind.
Shoe Free and Pet Free Environment
To keep our environment as clean and allergen conscious as possible, our studio is:
• Completely shoe free
• Completely pet free
• By appointment only
Outdoor shoes track in dirt, bacteria, and allergens. Removing shoes at the door keeps floors and posing areas clean for babies who may be wrapped, barefoot, or lying on soft fabrics.
Because newborns are especially sensitive, we also maintain a strictly pet free studio.
The result is a fresh, neutral, baby safe environment for every session.
How We Clean the Studio Space
After each session and throughout the day, the entire studio is disinfected and refreshed.
High touch surfaces are cleaned regularly with disinfectant, including:
• Door handles
• Light switches
• Seating areas
• Tables and countertops
• Client lounge spaces
• Changing areas
The changing table is wiped down between every family, and we use disposable pads for added protection.
Hand sanitizer is available in every room.
We also:
• Vacuum and clean floors daily
• Sanitize surfaces between sessions
• Air out the studio
• Reset every space before the next family arrives
Everything is prepared as if it were for our own baby.
How We Clean Props and Accessories
Every prop that touches a baby is cleaned or sanitized between sessions.
This includes:

• Beds and posing furniture
• Headbands and hats
• Hard props and accessories
Hard surfaces are wiped and disinfected. Shared items such as brushes are sprayed and sanitized.
Nothing goes back on the shelf without being cleaned first.
How We Clean Outfits, Wraps, and Fabrics
All wraps, outfits, and fabrics are cleaned between sessions using:
• Hypoallergenic detergent
• Fragrance free products
• Gentle baby safe washing methods
After each use:
• Wraps are washed
• Outfits are laundered
• Blankets and backdrops are cleaned
• Delicates are spot cleaned or steamed

During your session, I regularly:
• Wash and sanitize my hands
• Clean my camera and equipment between sessions

Vaccinated and Health Conscious
Your newborn’s immune system is still developing, which is why I take my own health seriously too.
I stay up to date on recommended caregiver vaccinations, including:
• COVID
• Tdap (whooping cough)
• Routine seasonal updates
Because I work closely with babies, staying vaccinated and health conscious is simply part of my responsibility.
If I ever feel unwell, sessions are rescheduled immediately.
Our Illness Policy
We follow a strict illness policy to protect every family.
If anyone has:
• Fever
• Cold or flu symptoms
• Cough or congestion
• Recent exposure to illness
We reschedule.
We do the same on our end.
